If August had a theme song, it would probably be "There Aren't Enough Hours in the Day!" 😊 This month promises to be delightfully busy—and I wouldn't have it any other way! Many of my fellow caregivers are taking some well-deserved vacations or spending extra time with their families before summer comes to an end. That means I'll be filling in, lending a helping hand, and spending extra time with my wonderful caregiving clients. It is truly a privilege to care for others, and while the schedule may be a little fuller than usual, the smiles, conversations, and friendships always make every moment worthwhile. Of course, when I'm not wearing my caregiver hat, you'll probably find me surrounded by fabric, paint, thread, ribbons, tea cups, and the occasional pile of creative "organized chaos" as I prepare for our busy September craft fair season. If you've ever wondered what a craft room looks like before a big event...just imagine a tornado with a glue gun! Somehow, in the middle of it all, beautiful creations begin to appear. The sewing machine has certainly been getting a workout lately! New purses, gift items, wearable art, and several exciting new products are keeping Crystalyn and me happily occupied. We love dreaming up fresh ideas and bringing them to life, and we can't wait to share them with all of you this fall. September's craft fairs are just around the corner, which means every spare minute becomes an opportunity to create "just one more thing." (Any fellow crafters know exactly what I mean!) Somehow, "just one more thing" turns into ten more things...and before you know it, it's midnight! Even in the middle of the busyness, I'm reminded how incredibly blessed I am. God has filled my days with opportunities to serve others, create with the talents He has given me, and work alongside my amazing daughter. There is something deeply satisfying about using our gifts to bring smiles to others while preparing for another exciting season for Crystalyn's Creative Attic. So, if you happen to see me in August wearing paint on my shirt, thread on my sleeves, and carrying enough supplies to stock a small craft store...don't worry—I know exactly where everything is...at least that's what I keep telling myself!
