April 2025: April Brings New Beginnings!
April is finally here—and I have to say, it’s one of my favorite months of the year. There’s just something about it that feels so full of life and possibility. After the stillness of winter, everything seems to awaken again—flowers bloom, birds sing, and there’s a little more sunshine each day. Here at Crystalyn’s Creative Attic, Crystalyn and I are soaking in that feeling of new beginnings and letting it inspire all that we do.
This month is a beautiful mix of fun and reflection. I love the silliness of April Fool’s Day, and a good harmless prank. I remember my husband Rob lived for that day and I never knew what prank he was going to pull! This year, I hate to admit, we were just a little too busy and we missed it! We’ll make up for it next year.
But what makes April truly special for me is the spiritual meaning it holds. Holy Week and Easter Sunday are times I hold close to my heart. It’s a season of hope, rebirth, and renewal. Whether you're celebrating in church, gathered around the table with family, or watching little ones hunt for eggs, it’s a reminder that love and light always return.
He is Risen!—three simple words that bring so much joy. And yes, we also fully embrace the chocolate bunnies, jellybeans, and pastel everything. Why not have both the sacred and the sweet?
This season, we’ve been all about the bunnies, blooms, and bright colors. Our Easter and spring-themed pieces were such a joy to create—every gnome, frame, and handmade touch came straight from our hearts to yours. If you picked up one of our creations, we hope it made your home feel a little more cheerful and a lot more you.
There’s something really special about crafting during this time of year—it’s like our creativity wakes up right along with nature. 💛
