#6 Spring Into April

#6 Spring Into April

The second half of March turned out to be fuller than the first half!

Women’s History month finished with a bang, encompassing the tremendous amount of women’s contributions from all walks of life.

It really made us proud to showcase their accomplishments through stories, quotes, prints and wonderfully designed shirts, cups, mugs, and tumblers. We also announced our “Women’s History” contest winner, Ann Lake.

We had so much fun with St. Patrick’s Day dressing up “Blackie O’Richards" (Sean’s dog) in her green hat and necktie.  It was a miracle she stayed still long enough for us to take her picture - check it out on our VIP page and on Facebook.

Among several new items, we introduced our Spring Buddies.  Our handmade pals come in three forms—ornaments, magnets, and pins—each one is a unique character.

We celebrated National Goof Off Day on the 22nd and commemorated my late husband’s birthday on the 29th.

The following day we officially launched “For the Birds” - Rob’s

Doodles that touched my heart and made me laugh. We wanted to share them with you, too.  The collection can be found on our website.

The first of April brought the much awaited Our Lady Queen of Peace Spring Craft Fair. Even with the inclement weather, people came out to support us and it was very much appreciated.

The winner of our Craft Fair raffle was Karen Hresko, who won a 16x20 framed print of “Hazel’s Flowers.”

April is “Autism Awareness” month.  New designs for the “Awesome in Autism” appeared on cups, tumblers and shirts, just to name a few of our items.  We have also highlighted some of the great people and their accomplishments who are on the autism spectrum.

Two Easter activity booklets were created…”Happy Easter” and “He is Risen.”  Both had 10 coloring pages and 10 activities each.

Another activity booklet has already been hatched for Spring!

National holidays such as “National Pet Day,” “National Grilled Cheese Day” and “National Scrabble Day” added to the fun!  Don’t forget items can be personalized to reflect ALL the fun in our lives.

April is proving to be very interesting!
